About Maitai Hotels

• The Hotel Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora, located on Bora Bora in the Leeward Islands of the Society archipelago (with majority participation of the Pacific Beachcomber group)
• The Hotel Maitai Lapita Village Huahine, located in the same archipelago (HMS management only)
• The Hotel Maitai Rangiroa, located in the Tuamotu archipelago in the north of the atoll of Rangiroa (property of the Pacific Beachcomber group)

The Maitai Hotels benefit from synergies with the Pacific Beachcomber Group (which also owns the InterContinental Resorts in French Polynesia, the luxury cruise ship Paul Gauguin based year-round in Polynesian waters, and is developing a unique project on Marlon Brando’s private island, Tetiaroa) and capital support by the industry leader in this sector.

The Managing Director, Laurent Darcy, and the Director of Operations and Sales, Christophe Gomet, each possess a solid background and professional experience successfully managing and operating hotels in French Polynesia.

Originally both from mainland France, they have lived and worked in French Polynesia for over twenty years.

All our hotels are therefore involved in the EarthCheck certification programme, which is an ecological approach to reducing and sorting refuse, conserving water and electricity, and maintaining cultural traditions...

The Hotel Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora was the first Polynesian hotel to take an ecological approach, and is now certified EarthCheck Silver. The Hotel Maitai Rangiroa is certified EarthCheck Bronze and the recently opened Hotel Maitai Lapita Village Huahine, will be receiving its eco-label very soon.
